Overview

Saperia Consulting LLC (“Saperia Consulting,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit saperiaconsulting.com or contact us through a service linked from this website.

Client engagements are governed by the applicable engagement agreement and are not covered by this website policy.

Information associated with website visits

This website uses Microsoft Azure Application Insights in cookieless mode to measure page views, page performance, scroll-depth milestones, and link interactions. The analytics configuration does not write a browser or session identifier to cookies, local storage, or session storage.

Analytics telemetry can include the page visited, referring site domain, event time, browser and device information, approximate country or region, tagged campaign information, and interactions that we configure. It is sent to Microsoft Azure infrastructure in the United States and retained in our analytics workspace for up to 90 days. Microsoft processes the information as a service provider supporting our website analytics. We do not use this information for advertising.

Links distributed through LinkedIn, email, direct outreach, or other channels may contain standard campaign tags or an opaque sc_ref value. These values help us understand which distribution activity led to a visit. An opaque reference may correspond to a specific outreach link, but it does not contain a name or email address. Because a link can be forwarded, its use does not prove that the intended recipient visited the site.

Attribution cookie and your choices

If you arrive through a tagged link, you can allow us to remember that source for 30 days. Nothing is stored unless you allow it. Allowing attribution lets us connect a later website inquiry to the original campaign or outreach link. Declining does not affect the site or stop cookieless analytics. You can make or change your selection at any time using Attribution choices.

Remembers whether you allowed or declined attribution for up to 180 days. If you only close the notice, it remembers the dismissal for 30 days so the notice does not repeatedly interrupt you.

After permission, stores the first campaign tags or opaque referral value used to reach the site. It lasts for 30 days and is not renewed by ordinary browsing.

Declining attribution deletes the saved attribution cookie. It does not remove aggregate telemetry or attribution information already collected before the choice changed.

Information you provide

If you contact us by email or otherwise engage with Saperia Consulting, we may receive your name, contact details, organization, message, and any other information you choose to provide. We use that information to respond to inquiries, evaluate potential engagements, provide services, manage business relationships, maintain records, and meet legal or contractual obligations.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to Realization, we collect your email address and send you the newsletter about every two weeks. Your subscription is confirmed by email before anything is sent. Buttondown stores the subscriber list and delivers the newsletter as our service provider, and records which issues are delivered, opened, and clicked. When you confirm a subscription, we may look up information about you from public sources and business-information providers, such as your employer and role, and check it against our own contact records. We use it to understand who reads Realization and whether our work may be relevant to you. We do not sell it or add you to other mailing lists. You can unsubscribe at any time from the link in any issue, and we will stop sending it.

If you ask for the sample model on our model X-ray page, you can download it straight away, and we email you a link to confirm a Realization subscription. If you confirm, the paragraph above applies. If you don't, Buttondown keeps your address as an unconfirmed signup and sends one reminder; nothing else is sent. The request is tagged so we know where it came from.

If you ask for the Anthropic S-1 model, you can download it straight away. We collect your email address and, if you give them, your name and company; Buttondown stores them for us, tagged with the request. We use them to send the PDF analysis you asked for and occasional notes from Nate Saperia, and the lookup described above may apply. We also email you a link to confirm a Realization subscription; the newsletter is sent only if you confirm. You can unsubscribe at any time from the link in any email or by writing to hello@saperiaconsulting.com.

How information is shared

We do not sell or rent personal information. We may share information with service providers that support our business, including website hosting, Microsoft 365, our newsletter service, business-information providers, and professional advisers; when required by law or necessary to protect rights and security; or in connection with a business transaction. Service providers receive information only as reasonably necessary for their work.

Retention and security

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including applicable legal, accounting, and contractual requirements. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
